PITY
PITY
You whine about your troubles
And complain about your life being rubbles
As I try to help, you solve your issues
You continue to sing the blues
No solution is ever good enough
You continue to cry about your life being too tough
As I share with you, my life struggles
You claim your life is a worst juggle
According to you, you have the worst life
And no one will ever understand your strife
After much conversation with you
There is absolutely no getting through
You do not want help or words from the witty
You simply want useless pity
I don’t understand why you would want lament
For it cannot pay a mortgage or rent
Pity cannot cure or heal
And cannot shelter or provide a meal
Pity does not bring solutions
Nor does it bring about resolutions
Receiving pity does not change the past
And it causes you to go no where fast
For pity, why do you want it?
For pity is full of $h*t
