PRIVILEGED
If you are white in America, you are privileged to those who are not.
If you can see, you are privileged to the blind.
If you can walk, you are privileged to the lame.
If you can hear, you are privileged to the deaf.
If you have fingers, you are privileged to the maimed.
If you are well, you are privileged to the sick.
If you have shelter, you are privileged to the homeless.
If you can speak, you are privileged to the mute.
If you have clothing, you are privileged to the naked.
If you have knowledge, you are privileged to the ignorant.
If you are free, you are privileged to the imprisoned.
If you have money, you are privileged to the poor.
If you’re a man, you are privileged to a woman.
If you have work, you are privileged to the unemployed.
If you have love, you are privileged to the haters.
If you have joy, you are privileged to the oppressed.
If you have courage, you are privileged to the fearful.
If you can read, you are privileged to the illiterate.
If you have hope, you are privileged to the hopeless.
If you have faith, you are privileged to the doubtful.
If you have a car, you are privileged to those who bus.
If you have food, you are privileged to the hungry.
If you can breathe easily, you are privileged to those who cannot.
If you are able, you are privileged to the disabled.
If you live your dreams, you are privileged to the daydreamer.
We all are privileged in our own way.
Be grateful for your privilege and help those who have not.
